Senior Team Tryouts Announcement!!!
Westside
United Senior Team Tryouts (U15-U18) for the 2009 Spring Season
will now take place on June 3 and June 5 before their 2008 high
school season. Current U14 players will need to be at the tryout
in June as they will be U15 players for the Spring 2009 season.
Westside United has earned a
strong reputation in its 6 years of existence winning 5 State
Cups, 9 State Cup Finalists, many Challenge Cups, and developing
over 40 + college players at the Division I, II, III and NAIA
level.
Tryout Dates and Times:
Tuesday,
June 3, 2008 Girls Time:
5:30-7:00 Boys Time: 7:15- 8:45
Thursday,
June 5, 2008 Girls Time: 5:30-
7:00 Boys Time: 7:15- 8:45
Benefits:
Players who
are participating in high school soccer will not have to be
concerned with their position on their club team. Players can
talk to high school teammates during the high school season
about their team and playing for Westside United F.C. Teams
and players can start to train with their club teams following
their high school seasons. This structure will help teams with
their ability to plan and organize for their upcoming spring
season. It will also help stop recruitment from other clubs and
ensures the club the ability to maximize the high school 6
player rule.
Club Dues:
Your club
dues are your deposit and are non-refundable. Club dues will be
due to your manager and the club by June 15, 2008. Your manager
will inform you of when other dues are to be turned in for your
team.
